The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Soter with Mr. Spencer and Mr. Connor in attendance.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to approve and sign the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act Policy and Procedure as presented by Mrs. Smith.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to award the Solid Waste Collection & Disposal Contract to the low bidder, E.L. Harvey of Westboro in the amount of $1,317,800.00.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to approve the change of individuals listed on the Class III License for Leo’s Used Auto Parts from Richard Dion, Jr. & Bridgette Dion to Richard Dion, Jr. & Jonathan Dion.
On a Connor/Spencer motion, the Board unanimously voted to approve the Change of Manager to Linda Trites and Board of Directors for the VFW’s Club All Alcohol License.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to approve the VFW Poppy Drive on May 26th, 8 AM – Noon at the Pulaski Blvd. intersection and the Town center, with proper insurance to be submitted to the Town.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to approve the February 24th and March 5th minutes as submitted.
Since there are only three members in attendance this evening, the renewal of licenses for New England Country Club will be placed on the Selectmen’s April 2nd agenda.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to award Contract 2018-CSRI, Cross Street Roadside Improvement to the low bidder SumCo Eco-Contracting, LLC of Peabody in the amount of $209,325.00.
On a Spencer/Connor motion, the Board unanimously voted to adjourn at 7:30 PM.
